Myofascial Release

Fascia is a thin, tough, webbed and elastic type of connective tissue that wraps organs and muscle fibres. Fascia supports and protects these structures. Physical or emotional trauma can make us tense up and cause our fascia to constrict, creating pain which may be longstanding and difficult to treat.

A session last 60 mins. You will be lying on a massage table with your torso undressed and under blankets.

Being comfortable is key here. Depending on the body area we work on, you will be lying on your front or on your back.

Myofascial Release (MFR) is an exciting and remarkable way of working that can relieve chronic and acute pain and deep seated tension.   Done properly it is a very effective way of working with complex pain and can also be used on people with whom ordinary massage may be unhelpful or too painful.
